Scott and family, Shirley, Barb and Donna, Such sadness and unexpected for many of us here. I let Ruth Ann know and we both shared tears on the phone as I read the obituary in the paper. Of course many of the "remember the day we" and I will stop there. Such good times with all you kids and with us girls. The 3 of us helped each other out of tuff times, perhaps not the most conventional way but Ruth Ann and I still believe our form of "grief Counseling" worked and we had a crazy fun time together. Oh Scott, who would have thought that Dan and Pat would be gone from us so soon. Please let us know when you come to Eldridge, I need to be a part of the end. Donna and Love and sympathy from Gary.

Pat and I shared a close friendship throughout high school and her passing breaks my heart. She was a beautiful, caring person and so much fun to be with. We had many wonderful adventures that are recalled today with a broad grin. In fact, she sent me a reply to my birthday message to her last month that recalled one of those times. Although we lost touch from time to time over the years, when we did reconnect, it was like no time had passed at all. I regret that I did not know how ill she was so I could have driven from my home in Washington to see her last summer. My heartfelt condolences to all of her family. Jane Lage McCurdy
