Bob was my first boss as I started my career at Heath. He was an awesome boss and a great mentor. I learned a lot about Quality Assurance from him. He was such a nice guy and had lots of patience with me because I was just out of high school. If he only knew that I stayed with QA and went into microbiology and continued to work for Heath, Leaf, and Hershey in microbiology because of him and Reba Guyer Rothrock. They both made a huge impact on my career and I feel honored to have known them both. I'm sorry for your loss.

I was saddened to learn of Mr. Brigham's death. I was in Janis' class at Robinson High School, and so I don't feel it is appropriate to call him "Bob". My deepest sympathy to his family.

I well remember the first time I met him and some of his children. My late father's (Carroll T. Cox) law partner, Mark Weber, brought them down to my Dad's cabin, and they enjoyed hunting and fishing as much as we did. In later years, after we had both moved to San Diego, I saw Gary here. In an amazing coincidence, I saw Nancy at a party of a mutual friend, and it took us a while to recognize each other, since neither of us knew we were in San Diego. I have kept up with John the most, and see him when our paths cross in Robinson. I also remember parties at their beautiful home.

My memory of Bob will be him sitting in a big chair with foot rest enjoying the super bowl game. Surrounded by a loud boysterous crowd, he just have a cute smile. As a polio victem I would have liked to thank him for his efforts in the polio vaccine. I hope he knows how much misery was deferred by his actions. My love to Bob and Cynthia. Two dedicated loving people giving so much unselfishly.
