Obituary for Diana Lynn Sarvis (Sarvis)

Diana Lynn Sarvis, 56, a Wenatchee Valley resident for over 40 years, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at her home in Wenatchee, following an extended illness.
She was born on March 14, 1960 at Lorris, South Carolina to the late Bobby Gene and Paula Ray (Goman) Sarvis. She was raised and attended schools in Lorris, South Carolina. Her father was killed in an automobile accident in December of 1974 and her mother moved the family to East Wenatchee in the spring of 1975. They later moved to Rock Island before settling in Wenatchee.
Diana went to work in the fruit warehouses and had worked for Taplett’s, Phillippe Fruit and McDougall and Sons. Shortly after the Subway Sandwich Shop opened in the Wenatchee Walmart store, she went to work and remained there until becoming a in home caregiver in 2013. She continued caring for her patients in their homes until her health no longer allowed her to continue.
She was formerly on pool and dart leagues at the Igloo Tavern in Wenatchee.
Diana enjoyed camping, barbeques, exploring second hand stores and yardsales. Her mother was her best friend and her family was her priority.
She is survived by one son, Brandon Ashbrook, East Wenatchee; her daughter-in-law, Danyelle Hackney, Wenatchee; three sisters, Carly Bean, South Carolina, Kathy (Roy) Schooler, Cheney, WA and Cynthia Sarvis, Wenatchee and five grandchildren, Jacob (Mackelci) Ashbrook, serving in the Army at JBLM near Tacoma, WA, Gavin, Eethan, Maddison Ashbrook and Riley Jackson-Ashbrook all of Wenatchee. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dwayne and Randy Sarvis.
A family gathering will be held at a later date. You are invited to visit her tribute online at www.HeritageMemorialChapel.com . Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee.
